上月某日，倾盆大雨；
后，雨停，晚八点，汤足饭饱，带娃下楼，正欲出门遛弯儿；
突见邻居扎堆，1单元门前热议；
心下好奇，故往；
至，见华美白花盛开，一7D+小白+曼富图脚架，一入门机+18-55，手机不计其数，成包围状，你来我往，快门频按，不亦乐乎；
近前，一老者语，昙花一现，玉（雨）珠在上，便更相得益彰；
心下大喜，天可怜见，莲荷不分之植物盲却有春天……
谨遵领导教诲，立返身上楼，速取5d2+24-105+430EXII；
时天色已晚，ISO 3200只得1/10s甚或1/5s快门，远逾在下1/13s+IS之极限；
日光全无，只得开430EXII，添自制眼神光板，补光犹硬，心下不满，遂以PS之“径向模糊”滤镜稍作提点，欲补先天不足而不可得；
旁有7D+脚架仁兄，开口道：背景除绿叶外尚有砖墙，效果何出？
所谓一语惊醒梦中人，吾当调转镜头，避其锋芒，自一侧拍其迎光通透之美，何其赞尔！
立践，遇挫，侧向之路灯角度略逊，光线犹弱，非我所愿也；
妻在旁语，手机电筒或助君否？
答，why not？
始得此片，无比欣喜；
7D兄见成效颇丰，也在旁随按快门，得佳片无数，后，提议，借君脚架一试？
遂欣然，从善如流，又得佳片一枚；
time to go，依依惜别，正所谓：唉呀妈呀，这玩儿老金贵了，正经开不到一时半晌的，这一去再上哪疙瘩整这景儿去！
someday in last month, quite rainy for almost the whole day
when it stopped, around 8pm and after dinner, I wanna have some relax walk with Vincent my kid
Then I saw several neighbors surrounding something and talking a lot
feel much curiosity, and I had to be there and find out
wow, that’s gorgeous white flower with raindrop on that, a guy with 7D + EF 70-200 + manfrotto tripod, another guy with entry-level DSLR and 18-55 lens, many fellows with mobile phone, are pressing those little buttons on that
got closer, one old man said, Night-blooming Cereus blossom shows in unbelievable short time, and raindrops add more beauty on that
that’s awesome! the plant-ignorance – myself – just got my own spring!
walk quickly upstairs to get my gears, 5d mk II, EF 24-105 f4, and 430EXII Speedlight
now it’s quite late, ISO 3200 but only got 1/10s or even 1/5s shutter
zero sunshine, so I had to setup 430EXII, but the light was quite direct and hard, which was not good as designed, so the “radial blur” filter had to be applied to compensate that – but still not enough to save it
the guy with 7D, who said, the background, it has only green leaves and red bricks, how to shoot that with better output?
that reminded me like a thunder, we should switch to another angle, get away from its head, and shoot from one side – to get some light through those petals
so I tried it, but not that good, the angle of the nearby streetlight was bad, and lighting was weak
my wife was staying beside with Vincent, and said, could the flashlight on my cellphone help on this?
hey! why not? I answered.
so I got this one, which let me feel ecstatic like a kid
the 7D guy also got bunch of nice shots, then proposed, wanna try my tripod?
hey, again, why not? then I got another good pic
time to go, sorrowful parting, didn’t know when I could get to see this again
